虽然新加坡的阿拉街是个马来社区但也有少数华人在这里居住。从门上的挥春便可知道这屋主是个华人。其实这里给人的感觉就像是个座落在熙熙攘攘市中心里的一个马来甘榜。

Although Arab Street in Singapore is a Malay estate however there are some Chinese families making their homes there. In this painting one can tell that this is a Chinese home by looking at the red paper on the doorway. Walking along Arab Street, you can feel that it's like a Malay kampong located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a city.
